Hojjatoleslam Seyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late Imam Khomeini, said certain elements are today distorting the history of the revolution according to their liking. He said they have launched falsifications delighting the enemies of Imam Khomeini and the revolution and aggrieving the lovers of the revolution and the spiritual sons of the Imam. Hojjatoleslam Hassan Khomeini said all those who feel to be indebted to the Imam and the revolution should not remain silent in the face of false reports and accusations. He stressed that if the spirit of seeking ideals is diluted, the revolution's potential will diminish and personal values will supplant Islamic and social ones. Hassan Khomeini said the distortion of the history of the revolution and the image of Imam Khomeini has entered a new stage these days, led by a terrorist gang spearheaded by the executed Mahdi Hashemi and one of the men ousted by Imam Khomeini.
